An exhibition about Manx Gaelic at a time when it was at the centre of Manx life.
Through an fascinating look at aspects of parish life community – including church & chapel, place names, music, the census and elsewhere – what emerges is a new way of looking at and understanding the Isle of Man and our connection to it.
Organised by Ballaugh Heritage Trust as a special offering for Blein ny Gaelgey – Year of the Manx Language 2026, the exhibition is being put on for the Heritage Open Days in the old Railway Goods Shed at the heart of Ballaugh village.
